Marie, Owner and Chief Stylist
Marie believes that there is the perfect cut (and colour!) for everyone. And she wants to help you discover yours. Marie graduated from the Douglas J Aveda Institute and spent time studying directly under founder of Aveda, Horst Rechelbacher. A hair stylist for 10 years, Marie has worked everywhere from the frozen steppes of Michigan to the sunny beaches of Florida - she is thrilled to have called Vancouver home for the last few years. Marie loves everything about salon life: the transformation, the connection with her clients and, of course, the cosmos.
Outside the salon, Marie is an avid crocheter, snowboarder, yogi and peanut butter enthusiast. She can't bear to hear a word said against Kris Kristofferson, so don't even try it.
Jessica, Senior Stylist
Jessica originally hails from Calgary, but is delighted to be in the much warmer and greener Vancouver. West Coast living suits Jess who is an avid hiker and camper. However, lest you think she's just about the outdoors, let us introduce you to her fantastic chocolate cake with peanut butter icing - yum!
Jess has been styling hair for over three years now - her favourite thing about being a stylist is the constant change. It's never dull at the salon and Jess helps keep it real and fun.
Chemy, Senior Stylist
Even though Chemy has been doing hair and makeup for over 16 years, she never tires of it - she loves seeing the transformation of customers, inside and out, at the end of a great style session. Chemy was trained as a Redken Platform Artist in New York City - you could spy her on stage at the best hair shows, teaching the latest in cutting and colouring techniques to stylists around the world. Chemy is also Pellé's expert in hair extensions and the resident makeup artist.
These days, Chemy is keeping it real here in Vancouver. When she's not turning customers into style icons, she's cooking up traditional Mexican food, grooving to the pop stylings of Luis Miguel and dancing the night away. When you come into Pellé, don't forget to ask Chemy about her frog collection - she keeps them around as a reminder of everyone she has transformed into Prince or Princess Charming.
Andrea, Senior Stylist
Andrea is a stylist with over 10 years experience. She's originally from Vancouver Island, where she owned and operated her own salon for several years.
Andrea feels that consultation is the key to a great hair experience, so if you are yet to find a stylist who listens and understands your needs, come on in and talk to her! She offers cuts, colours, perms and texture waving, straightening and smoothing services for both men and women. Colour is her favourite thing to do in the salon, from soft and subtle highlights to unique cutting edge colours. Everyone needs a little color to warm up their hair or to add some dimension with some multi tonal effects.

Massy, Senior Aesthetician
Whether you're looking for a quick eyebrow shaping or a full body experience, Massy has you covered with a full range of esthetic services. She has 15 years' experience as an esthetician and loves making her clients feel pampered and beautiful. Massy has been working on Davie Street for 10 years and enjoys the neighbourhood as well as the fun, friendly people who live in the area - and of course she loves her clients, many of whom have been with her since she started in the West End.
When not making the world more beautiful, one eyebrow at a time, Massy enjoys spending time outdoors and easy West Coast living.
Denis, Senior Stylist
Denis’ work can be described as crisp, clean and classically elegant. With his artistic vision and impeccable attention to detail, Denis enjoys working with clients to create styles individualized to their needs. Denis has been in the business for 26 years. He worked for 4 ½ years at Shear Heaven, a top salon in Ottawa. Vancouver has been home for the last 19 years. He enjoys doing styles for weddings and other special occasions; his particular specialty is precision cutting. Whether you want a contemporary classic cut or a funky avant-garde style, you are sure to be pleased with your experience with Denis.
Outside of the salon Denis enjoys doing his outreach and support work. Denis finds satisfaction through baking and the company of friends.
Neil, Senior Stylist
Neil has worked on Davie Street for 27 years. He enjoys the diversity of people who come into the salon whether looking for a fresh start or just a freshening up of their current style. He loves interacting with his clients. For Neil a hair service is more than just mechanics - he gives clients a full experience including professional service, after-care advice and a little joy in their day.
Beyond the realm of hairdressing, Neil enjoys traveling the world. When not away, Vancouver provides him with a playground to garden and just hang out with friends. At home, Neil scrapbooks and gets a little crafty with stamping and card making.
